Through the ever changing plans this year, I am continually amazed at how resilient our HBP couples are!  Pandemic aside, add unexpected rain to your wedding day and it is even more impressive when a wedding still turns out nothing short of amazing.  Rachel & Jackson were the absolute perfect example of this on their wedding day!

Along with so many other engaged couples this year, they had to deal with rearranging various plans on their wedding day and also a forecast of rain on their special day.  When you are planning for an outdoor ceremony, this can be really tricky! But Rachel & Jackson handled it with incredible grace and resiliency!

From the moment I met both Rachel and Jackson, I was overwhelmed by how warm and kind they are.  I didn’t get the chance to meet them before their wedding day, but within minutes I felt like I had known them for such a long time!  The sweetness between them was undeniable and so genuine. The way they interacted throughout the day made their portraits so incredibly easy and they turned out wonderfully!

Rain and all, they had one of the loveliest ceremonies I have seen. The rain let up just enough for them to be able to do it outside! They exchanged vows in front of a beautiful mantle decorated with beautiful flower arrangements made by Rachel’s uncle, blue and white ceramic vases, and a beautiful backdrop of trees with leaves changing color. Other special moments of the day include Rachel wearing a veil that her grandmother made for her mom on her wedding day, special music done by family and friends during the ceremony and reception, a dance floor that was never empty, and the speeches done by family and friends that were a testament to Rachel & Jackson’s character and love. It was a wonderful day!
