Last Friday, we celebrated Lauren & Greg’s long-awaited wedding day in gorgeous Charlottesville, VA at the Farmhouse at Veritas. Over 5 years ago, I photographed one of my very first weddings at Veritas Vineyards. It was a rainy, freezing-cold March day – just about as opposite to this glowing, sunny summer day as imaginable! But even with my past experience here being frigid and wet, I had fond memories of beautiful Veritas. When Lauren and Greg inquired about their wedding day, I was thrilled to travel back to Veritas and finally get to experience the Farmhouse at Veritas!

Now based in Philadelphia, Lauren and Greg met in law school. I was instantly drawn to them – they both are incredibly smart and have incredible taste (and an equally incredible sense of humor!). Throughout their wedding day, I was moved by their deep, passionate connection as a couple. Their vows were beautifully written and brought most of their guests (and me) to tears. The celebration, as a whole, was a perfect size for an intimate dinner with close family and friends. Several family members and the best man gave toasts, and each course was served with the vineyard’s wine. It was seriously the perfect day in every way, and it was a joy to photograph it!
