June has been a month full of beautiful sessions and I really felt like I was able to get more creative after such a long break since Winter! As DC residents, Natalie and David chose Blagden Alley and Logan Circle for their session! These were two places I have never shot at before and it gave me an opportunity to have a fresh perspective with posing and choosing locations for photos!

Natalie & David brought their French Bulldog Frankie to join in on the fun! She was such a good girl for this session!!! I always love it when my couples bring their fur babies to their session! Engagement sessions on summer mornings are super early but always so worth it for the beautiful golden light! We had such a great time walking through Blagden Alley and exploring the unique backdrops and structures to incorporate into their photos!

Like so many other engaged couples, Natalie & David have been navigating wedding planning through a pandemic! I have been so inspired by how well they are making things work through an already difficult season! It was also such a joy to get to know them and how they got engaged and the things the love to do together – traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants in DC, and so much more!  These two were so incredibly sweet and I can tell they just absolutely adore one another (and it completely shows in their photos!!!)
