I’m always amazed at how perfect the weather ends up being during engagement sessions (I hope I’m not speaking too soon!) And the weather for this session was exactly that – perfect! In the middle of July, you just expect that it will be extremely hot and humid, all day, every day. But for Sarah & Dave’s session in downtown Frederick in Maryland, it was the most perfectly cool and sunny morning!

Sunrise is the perfect time for a session in downtown Frederick – aside from the occasional early morning runner, we had the place almost completely to ourselves! The sunrise was absolutely stunning and provided the most beautiful light as a backdrop to their portraits. The area along Carroll Creek is so beautiful!

The downtown Frederick was the perfect spot for Sarah & Dave to have their session because they actually met at Brewer’s Alley, a popular Brewpub in the area. I loved getting to capture their photos right where it all began for them and hear the story of how they met! These two were so wonderful to get to work with and it was so fun to capture their photos and see them interact. You can tell there is just so much joy between them and they love each other very much! It truly made their photos look so beautifully relaxed and natural!
