Wow, what a whirlwind the past ten days have been! We’ve had four couples sessions, a new website launch, AND hosted a huge giveaway! Every part of it has been so much fun, and Ana and Kevin’s Union Station engagement session was definitely a highlight!

One of the first things that made an impression on me about this couple was Ana’s inquiry form she submitted on my website. She left a short message, but I instantly connected to it when she comment that she felt I was genuine. Genuine is one of the words I most strive to embody in my business, and it’s also something I hope my couples value. I was so thrilled that this was communicated to her through my website, and that she was excited about!

Their engagement session was long-anticipated. We’d been planning for a few months, and I was so excited to meet them! Even at 5am on a Saturday morning, I was super pumped to make beautiful photos with these two. Weather was absolutely perfect as I drove to meet them at the Jefferson Memorial, and it just continued to get more and more sunny and beautiful when we headed to Union Station!

Union Station and the Jefferson Memorial were the perfect choices for location. I was so excited that they chose these two spots. At both, there is beautiful white marble architecture with tons of character. There is also lovely greenery and water. Basically, they have all of my favorite things! The combination is perfect AND Ana and Kevin picked the BEST outfits to go with it!

So, overall, this was a really great sunrise session. Mornings like this remind me that a 5am wake-up call is ALWAYS worth it! I am so excited to share!
