Madison and Joey come from navy families, so when it came time to choose a wedding venue, they knew just where to find themselves. A perfect quiet, intimate, and meaningful spot in the heart of Washington DC – The Constitution Gardens. This sunny, late summer’s day began as we captured portraits of the bride and groom meandering through the World War II Memorial and the DC War Memorial. Madison and Joey shared their vows just the two of them and exchanged smiles, laughs, and tears together as they did so. It was a beautiful, and special moment to capture and witness. Their families joined shortly after for the ceremony where they witnessed the couple exchanging rings and officially sign the certificate. Their two nieces even “officiated” the ceremony by handing the rings off to them as they read their vows!

After the couple shared smiles and hugs with their families, they all headed to Iron Gate for a beautiful brunch celebration. The brunch was filled with bubbling mimosas, award-winning foods to taste, and loving speeches – all taking place under a stunning canopy of vines. The day was a magical and special day to remember!
