It was so much fun to photograph Zach & Hannah last week for their early morning engagement session! I was thrilled when they mentioned that they wanted to have their photos done at Morven Park, which is a 1,000 acre historic estate and horse park that is located in Leesburg, Virginia. We met bright and early, just after 6am, and the beautiful light was so worth the early morning!

It was my first time shooting there and I was blown away by how beautiful the grounds are! (Seriously, if you’re looking for an estate/garden-like feel for your photos, you will not be disappointed!) The sun came out from behind the clouds at what seemed like the perfect time in order to provide the most beautiful, ethereal glow!

From our very first phone call, I was so excited to get to work with Hannah and Zach. I completely enjoyed chatting with them about their Italy plans (we both happen to have trips planned for this summer/fall!) and their adorable puppy Cooper! They were incredibly easy to photograph and their session was filled with so much joy and genuine love! I feel like we truly got a little bit of everything in their session – the beautiful white mansion, vibrant and open fields, and lovely rose gardens.
