This gorgeous Pennsylvania countryside wedding with the most stunning views was photographed by Hannah Bjorndal on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Where to even begin with this sweet couple? Skyller found me through another wonderful couple, Maggie & Jess, whom she knew through work. Being a Pittsburgh native, I was thrilled when she said she was getting married in Western PA at a gorgeous, brand new wedding venue called The Grayson House. When she officially booked me for her wedding day, I was thrilled!

The three of us met officially in the fall of 2019 for their engagement session. Mack and Skyller chose the Lincoln Memorial as their engagement session location, which is a personal favorite of mine. As many times as our team photographs sessions there, it truly never gets old! We love it! On an early September morning, we met on the front steps of the Lincoln and had the most beautiful, warm sunrise. The weather was absolutely perfect and their engagement photos are still some of my favorites!

Originally, Skyller and Mack had their wedding scheduled for April 25, 2020. Obviously, when COVID hit, it changed their plans dramatically and they decided to move their date, eventually landing on their original date, but one year later. Skyller thought of just about every detail imaginable to make guests feel safe, comfortable and at home – I was so impressed!

My favorite elements of the day included the beautiful cottage where the girls got ready, Skyller’s lace bridal cape (so pretty!), their sweet first look, and the gorgeous sunset we experienced after a grey, overcast-y afternoon! It was such a joy to FINALLY celebrate with these two – congratulations, Mack & Skyller!
