This elegant Great Marsh Wedding with jewel tones and royal vibes was photographed by Sarah Mills & Hannah Bjorndal on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Hannah is a Great Marsh Estate photographer. She shoots weddings year-round in the Washington, DC metro area and internationally.

This wedding was one for the books! I was all heart-eyes all day for this magical wedding day. Bride Carolina chose rich jewel tones and a wedding gown fit for royalty, and I was HERE FOR IT!

These two won my heart over very early on. Last June, I photographed their engagement at Great Falls park (along with their sweet pup) and they were SO natural and sweet with one another. They laugh easily and are both head-over-heels in love with one another. It’s the best!

Jorian and the team at A. Griffin Events planned an epic celebration for this wedding day. Every last detail was picture-perfect! Working with this vendor team was truly a dream and I’m so proud of what we created for this couple. Amy Lauren’s floral design was absolutely stunning. The reception space was a feast for the eyes and I went a little snap-happy as soon as I walked in!

A few favorites from the day: Carolina’s stunning gown, the lush floral design in the reception space, the couple’s sweet pup acting as the ring bearer and the grand finale of the evening: a surprise visit from a mariachi band!

Here on the HBP team, Great Marsh Estate is one of our very favorite wedding venues. Our own Cassie Tobias was married here in 2018, and all three of us have photographed at this gorgeous venue! We hope to continue to go back many times to enjoy all the goodness it has to offer!
