I first met Meghan and Patrick in the fall of 2020 for their engagement session in Georgetown, Washington, DC. That early morning was easy-going and fun, with the occasional jokes from Patrick as I got to know them and how they met. We went from Georgetown to Roosevelt Island, ending our morning with photos at the spots they frequently went for walks. Patrick loved being goofy toward Meghan, and in that moment I just knew their wedding day was going to be a fun one!

Stone Tower Winery has the most amazing views, so when I arrived on Saturday and it was an overcast kind of day I was so excited for the endless amount of opportunity for portraits on the grounds without worrying to find shade! Meghan first had a first look with her bridesmaids, her dad, and saved the best for last – Patrick. He was patiently waiting by the pond for his bride to arrive, and the moment they had together was so special but made even better with the surprise of Lux, their beautiful golden retriever right around the corner to greet them too!

The day couldn’t have been more perfect! Meghan was stunning in her classy, elegant dress, completing the look with bows on the back of her wedding shoes. Her bouquet was wrapped with Rosary beads and a charm with a photo of her late grandmother. Their reception was such a fun celebration with all of their family and closest friends! To start the night they gathered together for a moment of silence as they displayed an empty table as a tribute to all military personnel fighting for our country, those in active duty and who they have lost, unable to partake in celebratory activities such as their wedding day. Meghan’s father, maid of honor, and Patrick’s best man had everyone in tears of laughter as they spoke of their history with Meghan and Patrick, wishing them years of happiness in their new journey together as husband and wife.
