If you’ve been following the Bjorndal Travels this summer, you know that Evan and I have been traveling all over Europe in celebration of our second anniversary. At the beginning of our trip, I shared that I wasn’t going to be booking work while abroad. However, I did meet up with Molida and Jeremy for one (and only one!) session at our very first stop – Paris, France!

Molida and Jeremy are friends of friends, and after talking to Molida back-and-forth, Evan and I both agreed that we’d love to shoot portraits in this beautiful city. It was refreshing and rejuvenating to explore a new city with this gorgeous couple. Seriously, they are SO gorgeous:

Paris is the city that every little girl dreams about visiting, and every not-so-little girl photographer dreams of photographing. While our trip to Europe was a vacation, I didn’t consider this work. It was a chance to be more creative and capture new things through my lens without the typical pressures of being a business owner. I also shot part of the session on film. Currently, I’m in the process of learning and transitioning to film photography. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to practice!

It was pretty hot and incredibly busy on this sunny Monday evening in Paris. Molida and Jeremy were incredibly gracious subjects. Being new to the city, we had walked the route the day before. However, I still wasn’t sure what to expect, or where the light would be best, so we did quite a bit of walking. Like, a lot. Molida was the MVP of the night for walking so far in those heels!

A little bit about this sweet couple: Molida and Jeremy met in California, where Molida is from. They fell for each other quickly, but Jeremy soon moved back to Paris, his home city. Not long after that, Molida followed him to France. Now Molida is working fast to learn French and staying in Paris as long as her visa allows. They’ve been together for over a year now, and are just about as sweet as it gets. I felt so lucky to have met them and even luckier to photograph them!
