Zack & Lauren were married in Summit, NJ last weekend on a beautiful autumn afternoon. I’m so thrilled to be sharing photos from their wedding day today!

Last winter, I met Lauren and Zack in Washington, PA – right outside of Pittsburgh – for their engagement session. Lauren and Zack met at Washington & Jefferson College, and so it just felt right to be back on campus where they met! As many of you probably know, I’m originally from Pittsburgh! So it was an extra-special for me to travel back home for the weekend and celebrate this sweet couple’s engagement nearby my own family’s home!

Part of being a wedding photographer includes capturing the emotion and feels of the day. For Lauren and Zack, all the nerves immediately melted away when they saw each other. Zack smiled for almost all of the ceremony and I could visibly see all of Lauren’s nervous excitement turn to pure joy as she walked down the aisle. Could there be a better reaction on your wedding day to seeing your soon-to-be spouse?

The details of the day were classy and elegant. Lauren looked drop-dead gorgeous in her dress and Zack’s tux with white bow tie was the perfect, classic complement. All the sparkly details, including a bracelet that Lauren’s mother wore on her own wedding day, made their wedding truly unique!
