This intimate celebration took place on the steps of DAR Constitution Hall and was photographed by Sarah Mills with La Vie En Rose photography on Saturday, June 24th, 2023.

The story of Emelie & Aldo began when their work crossed. They both work in the wedding industry, and both as caterers. Emelie made the first move and after years of dating, she even proposed! When the big day came, Emelie and Aldo wanted to make sure it was relaxed and easy for everyone, including the vendors given their line of work. The guest list consisted of their closest friends, family, work family and of course their dalmation, Pablo! Who even made a guest appearance on the napkins! Emelie and Aldo went above and beyond to ensure the day was enjoyable for not just themselves, but for their guests as well.

During the ceremony they conducted a reading from the book The Velveteen Rabbit, a sweet and sentimental touch by request of the couple. Both the ceremony and reception took place on the steps of the Constitution Hall. Decorated with black ceremony chairs and black patterned table linens, the vibrant florals popped all the more. Overall, this sunny June wedding day was beautiful.
