This sunrise wedding that embraces the winter and brunch at Great Marsh Estate was photographed by Hannah Bjorndal on Sunday, December 30, 2018. I can’t imagine a cozier, more perfect winter wedding than Caroline Grace & Caleb’s winter wedding at Great Marsh Estate! This wedding took all the best elements of the winter and combined them together to create the most beautiful, inviting wedding!

First of all, let’s talk about this sweet couple. From the moment I met them, I loved them. They share a soft, gentle spirit and disarmingly joyful personalities. I felt so comfortable with them right away and have been looking forward to this wedding for over a year! Caroline Grace has a timeless elegance about, and her wedding style completely reflected that quality. She chose an understated BHLDN dress and finished the look with a Jenny Yoo topper which so perfectly fit the style and season! I was instantly in love!

Another thing I loved was the schedule for the day. We arrived bright and early to Great Marsh Estate at 6AM. At sunrise, Caroline Grace & Caleb had their first look followed by glowing sunrise portraits. Their ceremony was shortly afterwards, right outside the Great Marsh mansion. Yes, outside in December! I absolutely loved it! They gifted each guest with a large scarf wrap to cuddle up with during the ceremony, too. It was a dream!

And what follows a morning ceremony? Wedding brunch! This couple seriously picked the best line of for their wedding day. Guests enjoyed a mimosa bar, chicken and waffles, frittata, cheesy grits, and, best of all, donuts from Carpe Donut! Not going to lie, I got way too excited when I saw the Carpe Donut truck pull up! Pine trees lined the inside of the reception hall, which were perfectly wintery without being too Christmas-y. Everything about the day was a delight! So excited to share more!
