There is so much to say about this beautiful wedding that I hardly know where to begin! Pippa & Jake were married at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club last Saturday, and it was the most perfect day!

First, let’s talk about this sweet couple. They are both super kind,  joyful and have an amazing sense of humor. Pippa’s sweet, bubbly spirit is shines through in every single one of these photos and it is just so irresistible! Jake adores her and his reaction during their first look almost made me cry! Really, they are just SO sweet together! I’d been looking forward to their wedding for forever and every bit of it was a treat!

Next, let’s talk about how insanely talented Pippa is (if you don’t already follow @PaintedbyPippa then what are you doing with your life?!)! Not only is Pippa an incredibly watercolor artist, calligrapher and invitation designer, she and her family also designed ALL the floral arrangements, including bouquets, for her wedding day! I genuinely did not believe her when she told me she arranged the bouquets herself. She also hand-sew little flowers onto her veil, which was the perfect unique touch! Usually, I tell couples to limit any DIY projects to maybe one small thing for their wedding day . . . but not this couple! Their wedding day was a STUNNER and most of those beautiful details were made by Pippa herself!

Now that I’m done crushing on the bride . . . let me tell you about some of my very favorite details: the stunning invitation suite (obviously), P & J’s signature drink which they also drank on their first date (watermelon margaritas!), the breezy, relaxing cocktail hour vibes, and the entire reception design are just a FEW of the many things I adored about this wedding! I am so thrilled to share some of my favorite photos with you!
