It goes without saying that 2020’s engaged couples have really shown incredible resiliency and strength through this year.  For most people, wedding planning is an already full & busy season; add rescheduling your date and coordinating all the details that go with that and it becomes even more busy! Caitlyn & Kris responded with such grace and strength in having to postpone their date, so I truly was so excited for their wedding day to have finally arrived!

Caitlyn & Kris had their wedding at one my favorite venues of all time – Great Marsh Estate! Okay, so I might be a tiny bit biased since I also got married here – but let me tell you, this venue is one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding! The grounds are absolutely stunning with the beautiful estate architecture and the surrounding acres of lovely fields of lush green and foliage. The getting ready areas are absolutely perfect for a bride & groom to be. There is just so much space for creativity and making it your very own!

To say their day was beautiful would be an absolute understatement!  The impending rain held off and the weather cooperated! They were able to have a sweet and heartfelt ceremony outside on the back lawn of the estate, where they were surrounded by their loving family and friends as they said vows and “I do”.

Caitlyn wore a dreamy dress that sparkled and caught the light just right! With accents of gold and deep burgundy, their wedding colors made for the perfect end of summer & almost fall wedding! Kris & Caitlyn looked absolutely stunning together! One of my favorite parts of Kris & Caitlyn’s day was getting to see the pure joy and happiness between them- especially during their first look and portraits together.  It’s during those small moments during the day, you could just tell how incredibly perfect they are for one another and how happy they were for their day to finally have arrived!
