What an amazing feeling to be back at the Lincoln Memorial photographing another gorgeous engagement session! Downtown DC has a huge piece of my heart, and I always enjoy engagement sessions at the DC Monuments. Less than two short months ago, I spent an early morning here with Cara, Brian, Heather, Nick and Brian’s parents to celebration Cara & Brian’s wedding. Heather and Nick are dear friends of Cara and Brian and also quarantine buddies (they live in the same building!) so it was a perfect to have them attend! It was also perfect that I finally got to meet these two – we first started chatting last November and I had been dying to meet them in person!

If you’re looking for the sweetest, most lovely couple to photograph, look no further than Heather & Nick. Easy going, fun-loving and absolutely gorgeous, they made my job so easy! They have effortless style (if it’s not already obvious from these photos) and I had so much fun with them. It was HOT and HUMID but you’d never know it – I was so impressed by the way they handled the heat! I was literally drenched in my sweat at the end (not even exaggerating!), but they looked as gorgeous as ever!

Heather and Nick are getting married in Florence, Italy next July and, after a few reschedules and lots of ever-changing plans, we’ve landed on a (official!) new date. I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing celebration – let the countdown begin!
