Kitty and Hisham’s wedding at Dumbarton House and The Graham Hotel was truly magical! The historical significance of both venues added an extra layer of regal charm to the day’s festivities. From the moment guests arrived, they were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and kindness, despite the unexpected rain on their special day. Kitty and Hisham continued to brightly smile in every moment, undeterred by the weather.

Kitty wore the bracelet her father had gotten her mother, and he helped put it on Kitty’s wrist when she got ready. She also wore earrings that belonged to a family member, adding an extra layer of meaning to an already unforgettable day.

As the ceremony began, it was evident that this was no ordinary affair. With a friend officiating and another friend reading a poem about the zombie apocalypse, laughter and smiles graced everyone’s faces! Even a momentary hiccup, when the officiant forgot the vows for exchanging rings, became a cherished memory, as the officiant jokingly attributed it to his overwhelming excitement for the couple!

Surrounded by loved ones, Kitty and Hisham danced the night away, witnessing the beautiful merging of both families. From the tantalizing mezze platter featuring Egyptian delicacies during cocktail hour to the sumptuous dinner options of Egyptian Grilled Chicken with Toum and Egyptian Pilaf, every dish reflected the couple’s cultural heritage and personal tastes. As guests indulged in Basbousa and Kunafa for dessert, they couldn’t help but feel the love and thoughtfulness in every aspect of the celebration.
