One of my favorite things this past year has been waking up early for sunrise engagement sessions. This past Sunday’s session was no different – I loved getting to spend my morning outside at one of the most beautiful parks that I’ve found in Maryland. If you haven’t been to Brookside Gardens, you are truly missing out! During this time of year when the leaves are changing color and the air is crisp, it is an absolute fall dream!

I felt instantly at ease meeting Katy & Jeff  for the first time for their engagement session! They brought along their 9 month old puppy Ruby for some photos in the beginning! The LVER team always loves it when a couple brings along their furry friend to their session! Katy & Jeff were so easy to photograph together because they were truly so natural together! They met on Hinge and hit it off really quickly (Jeff was working out at Orange Theory with Katy within a week or so of meeting – that’s when you know its serious!) I could tell just how much they love each other from the way they interacted between poses!

 We spent the morning walking through the beautiful park with its vibrant fall colors and peaceful pathways. It was so nice to have a good amount of time to walk around the area while getting to know more about them and what they have planned for their wedding day! There was a lot of joy and laughter in their session, which made it so fun to photograph! I loved that they chose two different, perfectly coordinated outfits for their session as well!
