Beautiful couple, beautiful day, adorable dog: these are the things that dreams are made of! Carolina & Kyle met me at the Billy Goat Trail in Great Falls, MD last week for this beautiful engagement session. I absolutely loved photographing this session with them!

Carolina & Kyle met in Texas while Kyle was traveling for work. They hit it off, but he quickly had to return to Washington, D.C. for work. They stayed in touch and dated long distance for a while, and eventually Carolina moved to D.C. and they got engaged!

Kyle & Carolina decided to bring Mylo, Kyle’s gorgeous golden retriever, for some of the photos (isn’t he such a good boy?!??!). It was so much fun having a fur baby in some of the photos, and I was so impressed that he was so well-behaved off his leash! The way he looks at Kyle is absolutely adorable (keep scrolling for more!).

It was an extra treat to have Carolina’s mom join us for the session! She was in town visiting and helping out with wedding plans, and she was kind enough to watch Mylo when he wasn’t in photos! My intern, Caelan, also joined to shadow and take behind-the-scenes shots of the session. It was such a fun evening and the weather was absolutely perfect!

Carolina & Kyle are getting married at one of my favorite venues, Great Marsh Estate, this fall! I am already so excited to be a part of their wedding day!
