I first met Anna & Ryan earlier this past spring for their engagement session!  We did their session at Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, Virginia, which was actually where Ryan proposed to Anna and was incredibly special to them! It was absolutely gorgeous with all the flowers blooming in mid-May! From the first time I met them, Anna & Ryan were so easy to work with – they were kind, easy going and so trusting when it came to their photos! 

Their wedding day was such a special day! Anna grew up in the Woodbridge area and spent a lot of time at Occoquan with her family, so it was very fitting that they chose The River View as their wedding venue! The River View sits right near the water with stunning views of the small town. The weather was absolutely incredible with a lot of sunshine and a cool breeze that made it the perfect temperature!  I could just tell how much their family and friends love them and how excited they were to celebrate their marriage! Anna wore a beautiful gown with delicate detailing, off the shoulder sleeves, and a stunning tiara.

Some of my favorite parts of their day were the details and getting ready (which included For of the Rings movie playing in the background – epic movie for an epic day!), the portraits of Anna & Ryan on the pier,  the special speeches by the father of the bride, maid of honor and best man, and the dance floor that was full for the entire evening! Everything about this wedding was so incredibly sweet.  It was the most lovely day!
