This joy-filled wedding at Windows on Washington in St. Louis, MO was photographed by Hannah Bjorndal on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Hannah is a Washington, D.C.-based wedding photographer available for weddings locally, nationally and internationally.

Nicole & Taylor tied the knot last weekend in St. Louis on a beautiful, balmy afternoon! This was my first time in Missouri, and what better reason than a gorgeous summer wedding!

Wow, it was such an honor to be Taylor & Nicole’s wedding photographer! I first met this sweet couple a year ago. Evan and Taylor had been volunteering together at our church, McLean Presbyterian, in the children’s program for the last year. All year, Evan had been telling me how great of a leading Taylor was, and how he was so thankful to be working alongside him! Right after graduating Vanderbilt, Nicole joined Taylor here in D.C., and I met them both while eating hot dogs (TRUE hahaha).

Not long after that, Nicole joined my community group and we became friends! I got to celebrate with her when the two got engaged last fall, and then was THRILLED when she asked me to photograph her wedding!

Fun fact: I have never had any couple with the same first names except “Taylor” & “Nicole,” and I’ve had two, but THREE couples with this name combination! This is a sign that Taylor’s and Nicole’s were made for each other, right?

You might remember that Taylor & Nicole had the prettiest engagement session on Roosevelt Island in December. These two have excellent taste and are also look SO good together! There wedding was an extension of their great style and super joy-filled relationship. What more could a photographer ask for?!

My favorite elements of the day included the lovely shades of purple and pink, the gorgeous 7th-floor wedding venue, Taylor’s dad officiating the wedding, and, most of all, seeing two friends finally become husband and wife!
