Sometimes, it’s hard to find words to describe how much I adore my couples! Jody & Joey have been an absolute delight to work with from the start. On our very first phone call ever, I felt like Jody and I had been friends for a long time! She has the amazing ability to make everyone feel welcomed and appreciated, and that became even more apparent as we celebrated this beautiful wedding day!

When they booked me in the late winter, Jody and Joey had no idea what was ahead of them for 2020 (and neither did I!). It wasn’t very long after they officially signed on to work with me that the pandemic hit, and all the way through, they’ve been positive, kind and thoughtful! These two also had to reschedule their engagement session TWICE due to weather (which has never happened to me before!!!) and were so flexible and understanding! I have been so impressed by their ability to adapt and create something absolutely beautiful in the midst of a crazy, difficult year.

Now let’s talk about the incredibly tasteful and elegant style of this wedding! Several months ago, Jody shared a Pinterest inspiration board for her 2020 micro wedding celebration and I was instantly in love. Sicilian lemons and ginger jars transformed this wedding into an Italian countryside dream. One of my very favorite details was the selection of citrus-colored bridesmaids dresses. With a mixture of patterns and solids, the dresses came together beautifully and were totally unique to any wedding I’ve ever seen! The reception space was breezy and comfortable – honestly one of the most relaxing and lovely reception setups I’ve ever seen!

It truly was a DELIGHT to be a part of this gorgeous wedding day and I feel extra-lucky that I get to work with these two AGAIN in 2021 for their big celebration!!
