This chic garden ceremony was photographed by Hannah Elise Butts on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 at the Tudor Place in Washington DC. Hannah Elise is a wedding photographer with La Vie En Rose and is available for weddings in the DC area, Southwest Florida, and destination locations.

Erin & Chris’s wedding was unique and intimate. They planned a day focused on the guests more so than decor and details. With the garden as the ceremony site, it required minimal dressing. The green space is already so beautiful, they let nature be the decoration alone. And it did not disappoint.

Erin walked down the aisle in the gardens of the Bower House in a stylish white jumpsuit and red soled heels, surrounded by their closest friends and family. She held a bouquet that was inspired by Great Gatsby, adorned by feathers and pearls.  At the end of the aisle standing, waiting for her was the groom Chris. Joined by him was their son Dash and Erin’s Goddaughter Emma, who stood by her side through the vows and ceremony.

The party was moved inside the Bower House, a venue dripping in charm and character, where the couple celebrated with their guests by nibbling cupcakes and sipping champagne. Throughout the ceremony and reception, a violinist played serving as the soundtrack to the day. The guests all mingled in the historic home, including Erin & Chris who floated from room to room, hugging and taking proper time to celebrate with each guest. When the first dance began, everyone circled around the newlyweds and watched them sway sweetly.

The night was wrapped up and everyone seemed to have a wonderful, relaxed time. It was a wonderful celebration.We wish Erin, Chris, and Dash the best in all their future endeavors!
