The fall wedding season is quickly coming to an end with winter weather quickly approaching!  While weddings are not as frequent as the year comes to a close, I’ve had the privilege of shooting a good handful of engagement sessions for next year’s couples! I’ve always been an early riser, so getting up before sunrise is always something I really enjoy, especially when it means I get to capture beautiful photos of  what I believe to be the best couples!  

I was so excited when Michelle & Steven chose Brookside Gardens for their engagement session! This garden is truly one of Maryland’s hidden gems with its beautiful pathways, ponds, and trees.  Its also the type of area that you could spend a few hours at just walking the trails and enjoying the beautiful scenery, especially during the fall months!

I loved getting to meet Michelle & Steven for the first time for their engagement session! These two brought such genuine joy and energy to their session, which truly made the session fly by! I also applaud them for enduring the super frigid morning and still managing to look absolutely amazing! It was really special getting to hear how they met way back in the 8th grade and the journey to where they are today; engaged and getting married in just a few short months! They also brought wine glasses that were custom designed by Michelle’s sister for a sweet champagne toast! I always love it when a couple brings along something unique and special to them to their session! 

Michelle & Steven, I loved getting to capture your engagement session! You two made the cold, early morning so entirely worth it!
