As the 2021 wedding season is slowly winding down and coming to an end, I was thrilled to find myself back at one of my favorite Vineyard Wedding Venues, Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg! While I find every season of the year beautiful in its own way, I have to admit that I quite favor Autumn – especially when it comes to weddings!

Mara & Shane’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous with the peak, fall colors! I first met Mara & Shane over a year ago for their engagement session.  Their easy going and sweet natures made me really look forward to seeing them again, especially for their big day! From the moment I walked into the getting ready portions of the day, I could just tell how much their friends & family adored them!

Mara & Shane had some of the most lovely details for their day; white and peach toned florals, powder blue accents in the bridesmaid dresses, and a carefully crafted invitation suite! Mara wore a stunning gown with delicate lace detailing on the bodice and a beautiful dramatic train.  She and Shane looked so wonderful together! Their first look was one of my favorites – I would describe Shane as the ultimate “hype man” for Mara! His reaction to seeing Mara in her dress for the first time was priceless!

Some of my favorite parts of the day were Mara & Shane’s first look by the pond, the ceremony in the ballroom overlooking the beautiful Virginia mountains, the sweet first dances, heartfelt speeches, and the dance floor that was full the entire evening!
