I first met Sarah & Evan this past July for their engagement session on the Saunders-Monticello Trail! We spent their session walking the trail, taking beautiful photos, and getting to know each other! From the first time I met them, I loved so much about them – their kindness, enthusiasm for life and for one another, and how fun they were!  Their wedding, like many others during the last year and half, was rescheduled – so it truly felt like this was a long time coming! On their wedding day, there was so much joy in knowing that their day was finally here!

The day of their long anticipated celebration started with getting ready at their designated spaces at Moss Vineyards.  It was easy to tell how much Sarah & Evan’s family & friends adored them.  Sarah wore a lovely lace dress with a dramatic and stunning long veil, which she looked so beautiful in! Sarah & Evan’s first look was so sweet – filled with hugs, laughter and endless smiles! These two were so easy to photograph because they were so incredibly genuine and at ease.  I am not going to lie; their personal vows to one another during the ceremony definitely had me tearing up a bit!

Some additional favorite parts of the day were the ceremony overlooking the sweeping Virginia mountains, the sweet speeches made by the best man and maid of honor (there may have been an excerpt from Hamilton!), the pavilion reception under the stars, and the dance floor that was full the entire evening!
