I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Old Town Alexandria is so incredibly beautiful at sunrise!  I’m always a huge fan of a sunrise engagement session over a sunset session, simply because it often feels like you are one of the only people up and about during that time of day. This past Saturday’s early morning session was no exception, with the almost empty waterfront and hazy skies giving off beginning of fall vibes!

Victoria & Jimmy met during their freshman year of college and eventually began dating some time after! They chose to do an extended engagement session which allowed for multiple locations in Old Town and an outfit change! This is always a great way to get a lot of variety out of an engagement session! It was so nice to have a good amount of time to walk the waterfront park and explore the nearby streets while getting to know more about them and their plans for their wedding day!

From the moment I met Victoria & Jimmy, I could see how incredibly kind and friendly they are!  Their genuine and sweet natures made it so easy to photograph them and we had a lot of fun! I really loved the contrast in outfits that they chose for their session – they looked absolutely stunning in both selections! It was an incredibly humid morning but you wouldn’t be able to tell because they looked so good!
