This nautical summer wedding at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and Park in Annapolis, MD, was photographed by Cassie Tobias on Saturday, July 17, 2021.  Cassie is a wedding photographer available for weddings in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and beyond.

I first met Abby & Dave earlier this past spring for their engagement session when they came all the way to DC from Washington state in order to finalize details with various vendors for their wedding! From the start, Abby & Dave were so easy to work with – they were kind, easy-going, and so sweet with one another!

Their wedding day was truly such a special day! From our calls about their wedding day, I learned that they really loved the water, so it was very fitting that their wedding took place at the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park right by the water! It was a perfect sunny day with stunning views of boats and ships sailing! From the moment I arrived on their day, I could just tell how much their family and friends love them and how excited they were to celebrate their marriage! Abby wore a beautiful gown with delicate lace detailing back and a stunning long veil and Dave wore his Navy dress uniform.  The details of this day were just so thoughtful and carefully planned! These two looked absolutely incredible together!

Some of my favorite parts of their day include the sweet first look between Abby & Dave that took place on the pier, the lovely vows that they wrote for their ceremony that had several people in tears, the ceremony that took place right by the water, the heartfelt speeches by the maid of honor and best man, and the dance floor that was full for the entire evening! Their wedding cake was made by Dave’s aunt, who often made all of his birthday cakes when growing up! Everything about this wedding was so incredibly sweet.  It was the most lovely day!
