I first met Sarah & Dave in the summer of 2020 for their engagement session in Downtown Frederick, Maryland.   From the start, I could just tell that they were the sort of people I would love to be friends with – easygoing, kind, and a lot of fun to be around!  I was so thrilled to be able to photograph their wedding that took place in Adamstown MD at Bluebird Manor, a beautiful venue in the Maryland countryside!

From the moment I arrived to Bluebird Manor, I could just tell it was going to be a wonderful day.  The getting ready rooms at BlueBird Manor are so well decorated and come with everything a wedding party could possibly need as they get ready for the big day!  Even with the possibility of rain on their day, both Sarah & Dave were so laid back and had positive attitudes because their focus was mainly on one thing – getting married! I could tell that all of their family and friends were so over the moon to celebrate their marriage! 

Sarah & Dave looked absolutely stunning together for their wedding day.  Sarah wore a gown embroidered with lace and delicate detailing on the back with a long, jeweled veil. The bridal bouquets and floral arrangements with white roses, peonies, and lush greenery were the perfect accent to bridesmaid’s sage tone dresses. Some of my favorite moments of the day were the sweet first looks that Sarah did with Dave and also with her dad, the joyful ceremony that was officiated by a dear family friend, the brightly colored Persian rugs and velvet furniture used for cocktail hour, lovely portraits of the bride and groom near the wildflowers, and a dance floor that was rarely for the entire evening!

Sarah & Dave, it was so wonderful to be a part of your wedding day, it was truly such a beautiful day! Thank you for trusting me as your photographer! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
