After some residual rain from the hurricane caused us to reschedule, I finally got to meet Luci and Seth on a bright, beautiful October morning at Union Station! Union Station in Washington, DC is a favorite location of mine, and yet couples rarely choose it! I was SO thrilled that these two trusted me with this engagement session location recommendation! And, if I do say so, I think the resulting images are absolutely beautiful!

Seth and Luci live in Raleigh, so this was my very first time meeting them in person. In the weeks leading up to their session, we were emailing back and forth discussing outfits, timing and even best locations to park! Engagement sessions are such a special part of the wedding planning process for the HBP team, and planning for this one was exciting and so much fun. We love getting to know our couples’ personalities and style, not only because it helps us understand them better as clients, but also because it assists us in knowing exactly how to create intentional images that uniquely reflect them on their wedding day. Also, I just love making new friends! Seth and Luci are very easy to love, and I’m delighted that I have the honor of building a relationship with them!

This engagement session was at sunrise, so it was early! It always amazes me how gorgeous my couples look at sunrise. Luci and Seth were so sweet and flexible with the hustle and bustle of Union Station and truly were a delight to photograph. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in 2021!
