The rain could not keep us away from the Lincoln Memorial for this gorgeous engagement session on Saturday! After checking the weather and seeing it flip-flop back and forth over the course of three days, we finally got a clear forecast on Friday evening. And even though there were rain showers on my drive in to D.C., it thankfully stopped for us to photograph this gorgeous session!

If you follow my blog, you know I photograph sessions at the monuments frequently. It’s a stunning spot for photos! Although I’m here all the time, each session feels different. I love the variety in light and season, and I also love being downtown near the monuments! It’s such a special part of my job!

I first connected with Jennie and Brandon through Danielle at Your Sweetest Day Events. We love working with Danielle! When I chatted with Jennie and Brandon for the first time, we clicked instantly. I was thrilled when they officially decided to book me as their wedding photographer!

Jennie and Brandon met at dental school and are now both dentists in Northern Virginia (no surprise that they both have amazing smiles, right?). They are stylish and easy-going, and also are so sweet and natural together in front of the camera!

These two are getting married at the Sagamore Pendry in Baltimore, MD next summer. I am already so excited to be a part of their beautiful wedding day! Let the countdown begin!
