We have had the absolute DELIGHT of hosting another summer intern this year! Caelan has been with HBP since May so it is about time we introduce her!

Give us a 30-second introduction:

Hello!! My name is Caelan Ulke, and I am currently a junior at Grove City College, pursuing a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Marketing. I am a native Pittsburgher, follower of Christ, and an aspiring world traveler! I’ve always had a genuine love for weddings, which was a lot of what drew me to HBP!! I’m not exactly sure of what I would like to do with my life, but I’ve always loved the idea of being a part of a creative business! I’ve really been looking to try out a variety of different things to hopefully find something I’m really passionate about!

 

What brought you to HBP? 

My friend Grace McNamara was Hannah’s summer intern last year! Grace raved about her time with Hannah, and I immediately started looking all throughout Hannah’s instagram dreaming off possibly working with her the next year! I was super nervous to apply, but I loved my interview process with Hannah! She was so sweet, and it made me so excited to hopefully work with her. I remember when I found out I got the position, I was in disbelief. I honestly thought I was dreaming!!

 

What are you most excited to do as an intern?

I’m excited for so much!! Hannah is so incredibly talented and knows so much about the industry! I’m really looking forward to attending beautiful weddings, understanding how to work my camera, and learning about what it looks like to start your own creative business!

What inspires you?

I think my main inspiration stems from the people in my life. I’m inspired by genuine relationships and being around so many people who are passionate about what they believe and do! I’d also say I’m inspired by the simplicity of nature, intricate buildings, and pastel colors.

Three of your favorite things?

Late night talks, flea markets, and cute coffee shops!!

Your favorite food/drink of choice?

I am always down for a good iced coffee, anytime & anywhere!!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

I have always dreamed of going to Greece!! I’m in love with the architecture and beautiful beaches! I have the incredible opportunity to study abroad this Fall, and I’m hoping to finally get a chance to travel there!

Favorite color?

It’s so hard to choose! I’d probably say my favorite color is between a soft lilac.

Someone would be surprised to know that you . . . 

I have run a half-marathon!! I’m a super unathletic person, so people are always shocked to hear that!
