Army Navy Country Club was the perfect setting for this beautiful June wedding last Saturday! With a beautiful, sunny forecast and a gorgeous couple, I felt like one lucky photographer all day long!

Even though it’s just a couple miles from my home, I had never photographed a wedding at Army Navy Country Club until Saturday! One wedding is all that it took for me to fall absolutely in love with this beautiful wedding venue! Lauren and Kevin are both active-duty Coast Guard, and so this symbolic venue seemed just perfectly made for them!

“Starstruck” is the feeling I had most at this wedding. The number of people who were either active-duty military or veterans & their families had to be well over half of the guest list! Lauren’s father had all of these guests stand to be recognized, which honestly made me a little teary and so grateful to all of those who have served our country!

Some of my favorite parts of the wedding day include the beautiful view from the Terrace at Army Navy Country Club (you could see the Capitol and Washington Monument!), Lauren’s exquisite gown with the most beautiful details, the gorgeous ceremony location setting, St. Dominic in D.C., and the amazing dance party that ensued as soon as dinner ended!

It was such a fun day and I’m so thrilled to share some photos!
