A few weeks ago we had the incredible privilege of photographing Kiyoon & Kayla’s wedding in Christiansted, St. Croix. It was a gorgeous celebration and we had a blast being a part of their beautiful day! Before and after the wedding day, Ev and I enjoyed a little vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands to relax and recharge before the busy wedding season is in full swing!

Prior to arrival,we had no idea what to expect. We had done a little research and gathered some recommendations, but overall, I didn’t know much about the USVI. St. Thomas was our first stop, where we stayed at a resort called Margaritaville. While it definitely some cheesy Jimmy Buffett-ness to it, we thought the resort was really gorgeous overall and we felt totally relaxed during our stay!

The infamous Coki Beach was a 2-minute walk from where we stayed, and thanks to the kindness of some new friends, we enjoyed snorkeling and mango smoothies on the beach! We also took advantage of the cliff-side infinity pool and 2-for-1 drinks at happy hour every day (I mean . . . we were staying at Margaritaville!).

On that last full day of our trip, we took a ferry over to St. John to explore and hike to Honeymoon beach. We left the camera at home for this one, which means you’re just going to have to visit it yourself! But we did snap some of the beauty of the islands throughout the trip, and I’m sharing a few of my personal favorites from the trip today. Enjoy!
