We’ve had an unusually fantastic streak of beautiful weather for weddings & engagements in the last few months! With the crazy amounts of rain we’ve had in D.C. this year, I’m actually shocked how incredible the weather has been for my couples! YAY!

Carson & Erica are based in Florida and are planning a beautiful wedding for November 2019. I am so excited to celebrate with them in St. Augustine! Kacie of Honeybelle Events connected us several months ago, and I was SO thrilled when they officially booked me! I was even more thrilled when I found out they’d be traveling up to D.C. for their engagement session – amazing! So we finally got to meet last Friday!

Did you know I am a huge fan of the color red? Not only do I love wearing the color myself, I LOVE photographing it! Erica wore shades of red & pink for both locations and I was so excited! And you can see why – how gorgeous are they?! It truly was a treat!

Erica & Carson are planning a prohibition-themed wedding, so it was only fitting that we also visit a bar in D.C. with a speakeasy vibe! The Gibson was the PERFECT setting for these photos, and I loved getting to be extra creative with an indoor space! Almost all of my engagement sessions & portraits are shot outside, so this was a unique and fun challenge to create something beautiful in a really unique building.
