Wow, what a beautiful morning and beautiful couple! This morning, I met Kayla & Kiyoon at the Jefferson Memorial for their engagement session. The sun was shining, the monument was glowing, and we had the whole place (almost) entirely to ourselves!

When I met Kayla & Kiyoon a few weeks ago at Northside Social, I instantly knew we were a good fit! This couple is fun-loving, stylish, and, most of all, totally in love! They were such naturals in front of the camera because they are so comfortable with one another. I felt so lucky that they picked me for their engagement photos!

We spent half of our session at the Jefferson, and then headed over to the FDR Memorial to finish the session. As many of you know, the Jefferson is one of my favorite places in Washington, D.C. to be at sunrise. Particularly on weekdays, this place is so peaceful. The white stone marble glows beautifully with the colors of sunrise, and it’s just about the most beautiful place imaginable for engagement photos!

The FDR Memorial has a similarly peaceful vibe, but totally different style. I loved that Kayla & Kiyoon chose these two locations, because they have such a great variety of looks to them! So, after an outfit change, we headed over to FDR to enjoy more of what D.C. has to offer!

Everything about this morning was absolutely beautiful, and I’m thrilled to be sharing!
