Your role as a lead editor will primarily be to ensure all wedding and engagement photos are delivered on time and edited in a way that is consistent with the signature La Vie En Rose style.

Our mission is to celebrate marriage and relationships, and the primary way that we do this is going above and beyond for our clients. Processing, editing and finalizing photos quickly while creating a consistent final look for a full gallery of photos is essential to serving our clients well!

As a lead editor, you will edit and finalize the look and style of our RAW wedding and engagement photos. This includes editing 10-20 same day "sneak peek" photos, preparing a highlights gallery, and editing the final images.

We equip and train you in our editing style over several months. First, as an editor-in-training and then as a lead editor.

This is a part-time position which is somewhat seasonal, with April - November being "busy" season. Our lead editor will work 20-30 hours/week in our busy season. Exact hours are flexible, but some deadlines require a very quick turnaround, so Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are very busy.

In addition to editing, all of our team members also attend a weekly Monday morning meeting and periodic fun team day events.

Edit highlights gallery and upload images to our gallery service provider within a short timeframe

Edit same day "sneak peeks" on Friday-Sunday nights

Coordinate "final edits" schedule and assign other team members to editing jobs

Regularly do quality control checks and give feedback to keep editing style beautiful and up-to-date

Contribute new ideas + help problem solve at weekly team meetings.

Attend fun team events + get-togethers periodically.

Exceptional taste with a refined eye for color, design, style and the visual arts.

Detail-oriented to the extreme, determined to perfect the smaller, finer details.

Excellent organizational skills with an ability to work quickly and efficiently.

Experience editing photos with Lightroom Classic.

Team-oriented thinker with excitement to invest in relationships long-term.

Availability to edit remotely for 30 minutes on Friday - Sunday evenings.

Experience with advanced retouching in Photoshop and editing to match film scans is a plus, but not required.
